Start earning money
I bet a lot of you guys came here for this step! That's ok. But keep in mind! Before you can start with this step, you must have done ALL the previous steps! If not, this is not going to be as effective as it could/should.Now that you have your Analystics set up (see previous step), and start to have some visitors. It's time to make your work pay off. For this, we're also going to use some help from Google. There are other services alike thisone, but here we'll just choose Google. What we are going to use is Google Adsense. It allows you to show advertisements on your website, just like the one above this paragraph. As you can see, if you use it correclty, it isn't that annoying for visitors. They can click on it, and it will guide them to a new webpage. They can always simply come back. Try it out yourself. Not that bad, eh?
With your Google account, sign up for Adsense. Follow the steps on the site. For this step, you must give Google information about your bank account (just the number, nothing to be afraid of at all). It can take a few days to active it. But once that's done, create a new ad. You can give it a name, and design it yourself (the colors). After you're done creating it, you'll be able to 'get code'. The code will look something like this:
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "ca-pub-**************";
/* 468x60, ************* */
google_ad_slot = **********";
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
google_ad_client = "ca-pub-**************";
/* 468x60, ************* */
google_ad_slot = **********";
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
Choose the place on your page where you would like to show an ad carefully, and just paste that whole code into your code. That's it. Now check if it looks good, sit back, and earn some money (hopefuly).
Keep track of your Adsense and Analystics account to keep improving your content and the (location of) the ads.
