Get an idea

Before touching a single key on your keybord, it's VERY important to have a great (new) idea. Your website may be awesome, but if the idea behind it sucks, the visitors won't be interested and leave and never come back. So don't start with a random thought and start wasting your time, no, think before u act.

This is often the most difficult step (atleast, it's the most difficult one for me). But don't be afraid, there are many ways to get some inspiration.


Try getting some inspiration:

• • Visit online marketplaces for webmasters, and see what people are buying/selling. This usually works great for me.
• • Try making an online (text-based) game.
• • About health (works really well these days!)
• • About a simple subject, find info about it and just make a few pages of it. You'll be suprized how many people will visit your site.
• • A community (forums,...)
• • Just hop from website to website and look arround.
• • Look arround on Google.
